The Ethical Review Committee, Inc (ERC) is an Independent Central Institutional Review Board (CIRB) established in 1988 to provide for timely, expert review of clinical projects, in order to meet FDA requirement for protection of human research subjects. The service is available, on a contractual basis, to sponsors of research, contract research organizations and practitioners.

ERC provides initial and continuing ethical and scientific review for the performance of clinical research pertaining to investigational drugs.

ERC is experienced in Phase I, II and III clinical trials, Post-Marketing/Phase IV, expanded access, multi-center clinical trials and survey trials.

ERC is dedicated to the ethical protection of human subjects in research.
